Win PC Defender is a fake security program with malicious intent in compromising the integrity of your Windows operating system. It has been identified that Win PC Defender transmits the Trojan worm through a video codec installation. What this rogue software actually does, is that it claims to have found an infection in your computer and asks you to purchase the full version of the program to be able to clean the alleged infected files, but the real threat is the application itself. The fake security program has one primary purpose and that is to scam people into believing that their system is infected thus, buying the software is the only option. Please don’t fall into this trap and when you see the fake popup alerts just completely ignore them.
