What is TRE Antivirus?
You’re at work, at school, at home….you’re booting as usually your computer and….
it is being scanned !
Then you get a nasty Windows having an header with ‘TRE Antivirus’ on it !

It is but a recent malware named TRE Antivirus and your system is now infected with it.

Take into account, all those programs are fake ones and are only malware. They were designed to damage your computer system. And, of course, to steal you ! How ? By tricking you into buying a full version with your credit card !

For that one, let’s explain it a bit: hackers are always creating or compromising legit sites to put their own programs like TRE Antivirus. Then computers users like you and I are browsing such websites and we are pushed to download a given software we never required ! Call it ‘drive by download’.
If this malware is a new one or if your system isn’t really protected for such threats, you’ve just downloaded, and installed, a very bad program ! It will infect and compromise your system in various ways.
To begin, this not so nice program will change the Registry. On your next re-boot, the computer will run that malware and it will keep it resident in the background.
You will then get a fake system scan done on your computer. Followed by that not so nice Windows telling you of lots of infected files !

This malware, TRE Antivirus, will also do the following threats:
You will not be able to update your anti-virus software or even to run it. Also your browser settings will get modified. As a result, accessing online security websites will be impossible !
You will get lots of windows with warnings saying your computer is deeply infected. TRE Antivirus will also claimed you are under hackers attacks !
Many Windows tools, like System Restore and Task Manager Registry Editor, will get compromised and simply will not work.
Remember : those warning are all false ones ! Do not believe them ! TRE Antivirus is showing all those threats to trick you to buy the registered version ! Clever, eh ?
